“As a designer I am an old soul! My love for vintage reflects in my design philosophy”- Says Nabeela Adeel, designer behind the label Nargis Hafeez. The Arya Collection takes inspiration from traditional work patterns, use of Jamawar, Chiffons and Gota. The lengths vary from short and edgy with Shalwars and Churidars to mid-lengths with flowy lowers like Dhaka Pajamas and Gararas . The underlying theme behind every piece is revival of old crafts, an era bygone which is a reflection of the label’s design philosophy. It is something that reflects in her signature collections, use of antique work pattern, heirloom pieces, and Kashmiri embroideries yet draped in an outfit that is relevant today.
